Isaiah 54:5 teaches us that "For your Maker is your husband – the LORD Almighty is his name – the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth".
There is no relationship that changes your life like an authentic relationship with Christ. Seeing our commitment to Christ as a marriage transforms the way we honor Him.
Wives in Waiting is a global ministry, founded on Biblical principles, for ALL women. Our mission is to guide women in every aspect for their relationship with God through Bible Study, local Sister Circles, serving their community, Sisterhood Socials, and so much more.
Wives in Waiting provides women a way to honor their commitment to God, mature in Christ, and apply these principles to every other relationship in their lives. As they explore their relationship with God, they discover how to become the true Bride of Christ. Members of Wives of Waiting have the opportunity to be mentored in areas of spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical growth. We will examine areas that have not been fully surrendered to God.
It (Wives in Waiting) has helped me to develop, grow and mature more into womanhood and better prepare to be a wife. You bring a deeper understanding of what it means to be a godly woman, especially in the area of sisterhood.
It (Wives in Waiting) has given me the strength to hold on to my vow of celibacy because it's not a commitment to man but a commitment to GOD. On some of my lowest and darkest of days, those text messages of daily encouragement came through right on time. The community outreaches that I have had the honor to join with my local chapter have touched my life in such a way! Words can't even begin to express what Wives in Waiting has done. It all started for me when I logged into a 5 AM prayer on Pericope; that day forever changed my life!

Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
It is human nature to worry. We worry about whether or not we will have the money to pay a bill. We worry about family and friends who make decisions we do not necessarily agree with. We face difficult situations on our jobs that cause us to worry. For many of us, worry has become an everyday part of our lives.
Philippians 4:6 tells us not to worry about ANYTHING. How are we supposed to not worry about anything when we live in a world in which worrying is the norm? Philippians 4:6 answers that question by telling us to pray about everything, tell God exactly what our need is, and give Him thanks as if He has already answered our prayer. As Christians, I think we forget to lean on God when we are consumed by worry. Instead of running to our Heavenly Father, we sit and dwell on the situation. By the time we are done thinking about the situation from every possible angle, we have made the situation worse than
what it really was. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus helps us better understand how worrying is a waste of our time. In Matthew 6:27 (NIV) Jesus says, “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” When we worry, our situation does not change. If anything, it causes us to stress which negatively affects our health.
It is time for us to stop allowing worry to be our normal. As children of God, worry should not be a part of our lives. Instead of worrying, we need to release our worries to God and let Him handle the situation. When we allow God to step in and take over, He blesses us with an amazing gift. Philippians 4:7 tells us that after we let God take over our worries, we will experience the peace of God. The peace of God is such an incredible feeling that washes over us. God’s peace goes beyond our understanding. It protects our hearts and minds. His peace allows us to have joy in the midst of chaos and confusion. So instead of mulling over our worries and trying to figure out a solution on our own, let’s give our troubles to God and rest in His peace. Once we let Him take control, we will see God move greatly on our behalf
